SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Bard College men's basketball team lost to Union College, 91-63, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.

Bard trimmed a 19-point deficit down to eight in the early part of the second half, but Union responded and won going away.

"Every game is a learning experience for us," Bard coach Michael Lenahan said. "This was one of the less fun lessons to learn."

Stam Koulouris led Bard with 11 points; Elliot Harris finished with nine, and Lazaros Panagiotounis added seven.

"The key going forward is to use this game to get better," Lenahan said, "and to have as much fun as we possibly can playing basketball together for the next two weeks."

Bard next plays at RPI on Tuesday.
