2021-22: After battling injuries early in the season, Bruns came into his own, becoming a real problem for opposing teams on both the offensive and defensive end ... he had a season-high 21 points in a home win over Skidmore and 11 rebounds at Clarkson, where he had his first double-double ... scored in double-figures nine times ... made the Liberty League Honor Roll after a three-game stretch in which he averaged 11 points and six rebounds per game ... led the team in blocked shots.
2020-21: The season was lost to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20: Tyler worked his way into a starting role on the team as a freshman, as he played in every game and started 14 ... averaged six points and 3.6 rebounds per game ... had a stretch of five straight games scoring in double-digits after Winter Break, including a season-high 16 against St. Lawrence ... he scored 14 points twice in Bard's last three games, going 6-for-12 from the field in the season finale at Ithaca.
High School: New Hampshire All-Academic Team; All-State Honorable Mention; Capital City Christmas Tournament All-Tourney Team three times.
