The Bard College Sports Information handles all of the media and public relations for each of the Raptors' 18 intercollegiate NCAA varsity sports that compete on the Division III level as a member of the Liberty League, New England Volleyball Conference and College Squash Association. Working as a part of the Office of Communications at Bard, we provide coverage and media services for all of the institution's varsity athletics programs. In addition to being responsible for all media relations pertaining to student-athletes, coaches and staff, we operate the athletics website, compile statistics at home sporting events and disseminate press releases regarding individual events, student-athletes and teams. We are also responsible for all departmental promotional materials, historical program records and photography.
All interview requests for coaches, administrators or student-athletes, as well as for the Bard Athletics' logo, should be sent to sportsinfo@bard.edu and pcipriano@bard.edu. Every effort will be made to fulfill any request within a timely manner.

Social Media Policy for Student Athletes
Media and Photo Credential Policies
Media Credentials Policy
* Season media credentials are issued to those outlets that cover Bard Athletics on a regular basis.
* With the exception of beat reporters covering the team on a regular basis and producing regular reports, all passes are approved and issued on a game-by-game basis.
* Passes are non-transferable and are subject to immediate revocation if transferred to non-working members of a media outlet.
* Due to limited space and to ensure compliance with NCAA guidelines, no credentials will be issued to "free-lance" writers or photographers without a specific assignment.
* Credentials are issued to web sites that are affiliated with national or regional media organizations, for example D3Basketball.com, etc., for websites of Liberty League schools or non-conference opponents.
* All persons picking up credentials will be required to furnish positive identification. All credentials are non-transferable, and no credentials will be issued to those under the age of 18. When possible, credentials will be mailed in advance of game day, but can also be picked up at pressbox or the gym of the respective events.
Photography Regulations
* Photo passes will be issued only to accredited photographers on assignment. Photographers should obtain a credential from the sports information staff prior to the game with at least a 24 hour notice.

Under NCAA and Liberty League rules, photographers must remain outside of the restraining lines surrounding the playing field/court. STAY OUT OF THE TEAM BOXES.
* Photographers are expected to comply with all College regulations and policies. Any photographer or any media member not complying with instructions of College staff may be required to surrender their credentials.
Coaches and Player Interviews
All player interviews should be arranged through Bard Sports Information Director Pearllan Cipriano whenever possible. Player phone numbers will be released only if approval has been granted through the Sports Information Office.
Television/Radio Policy:
If you wish to provide television or radio coverage of an athletic event at Bard College, please contact the Sports Information Director, Pearllan Cipriano, at least 24 hours prior to the event. Phone lines and internet connections are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at most of our athletic facilities.
