SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Bard College men's cross country team competed at the Western New England University Golden Bear Invitational on Saturday.

"Today the men took a real step in the right direction toward the Liberty League Championships," Bard coach Billy Poole-Harris said. "Clemente Esponilla placed in the Top 10 for the second time this season (eighth), running a personal best 28:05. Oliver Pawelek (12th) also ran a PR 28:51 ... everyone had a PR. Jack Keelan (31:48), Graeme Lauterbach-Mason (33:29) and Bo Hopwood (34:57). All in all it was a good day."

The Liberty League Championships are next for the Raptors, at Vassar on Oct. 29.
