The Bard College men's cross-country team finished their regular season with a trip to the NCAA Mideast Regional, with five runners all having excellent races to close the season.
Bard finished 21st with 642 points and all five scoring runners have finished under 30 minutes for the first time in program history. The Raptors were led by sophomore
Clemente Esponilla with a 99th-place finish with a time 27:30.6, just a second off his personal best.
First-year
Elijah Flynn ran a time of 29:24.7 while
Bo Hopwood broke his personal best, by running under 30 minutes with a time of 29:55.3.
Senior
Jack Keelan ran his last cross-country meet as a Raptor with a time of 29:57.9, just 0.06 away from beating his personal best. First-year
Able Bloodgood finished right behind Keelan with a new personal best of 29:58.4.
The competition was the final race of the season for the cross-country teams, who begin training for the indoor track season now, with the first competition in early December.
