The Bard College women's soccer team has teamed up with the Go4theGoal Foundation to raise funds and awareness for kids battling cancer in the community.

The effort will culminate with a "Lace Up" game against Vassar College on Wednesday, Sept. 29. Both teams will wear Go4theGoal Foundation laces as they try to reach their fundraising goals. Bard has set out to raise $1,000.

The goal of Go4thGoal is to improve the lives of children battling cancer by providing financial support, developing and implementing unique hospital programs, funding innovative research and granting personal wishes.
