SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Bard College men's cross country team competed at the Liberty League Championships on Saturday, placing ninth.
Oliver Pawelek was Bard's top finisher, and he was 54th overall.
"The field jumped us from the start," Bard coach Billy Poole-Harris said. "However, Oliver was patient and ran within himself to pass a lot of runners down the stretch to a person record of 35 seconds.
Calvin Janzen-Chappell was our second man, also running a lifetime best.
Jack Keelan came to run today, also running a personal best.
Andres Block-Martinez was very solid for us. We are a young, inexperienced team and that means who have room to grow."
