KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Bard College women's soccer team has earned the Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches, it was announced Thursday.

To qualify, teams must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the previous academic year, in this case, the 2019-20 season.

A total of 889 teams qualified nationally, but Bard College is one of just 174 institutions nationwide who had both the women's and men's teams qualify. This was the 11th consecutive year that was true for Bard's teams.
