Raptors even record at 1-1 with victory over Cobleskill

Box Score ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - A three-goal outburst over a four-minute stretch late in the first half broke open a scoreless game, and the Bard College women's soccer team rolled to an 8-0 victory over SUNY Cobleskill in a non-league contest on Wednesday night.

It was Bard's largest margin of victory since an 11-0 win over Bay Path College in October of 2011.

Goals by Isabel Keddy-Hector, Gina Lewis and Hallie Nolan gave the Raptors (1-1) a 3-0 lead at halftime. Maddy Huggins scored three times in the second half; single goals were added by Sylvia Kool and Sam Lagville-Graham. Sophomore Mady Calhoun assisted on two of Huggins' goals.

Bard outshot Cobleskill (0-2) 51-0 and had 18 corner kicks to the Fighting Tigers' one.

Bard will participate in the Cardinal Classic hosted by Plattsburgh State this weekend. It will start with a game against Oswego State on Friday night at 7. Bard will take on host Plattsburgh State on Saturday at 3:30.
