ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College women's soccer team could not continue its winning ways in conference play against the Ithaca Bombers on Saturday, 0-3.

Ithaca took the first seven shots of the match, with two requiring saves from Thayden Hamilton-Howard. Natalie Wing broke the drought at the 26:06 mark, although she could not find an opening. The final seven shots of the period also went to the Bombers, and this time they broke through for two goals at the 34:03 and 36:53 marks.

Bard's defense was able to hold Ithaca for the majority of the second half. The first four Ithaca shots were either blocked or did not have an angle for a quality look on target. The next two were saved by Julianna LaFond at the 55:52 and 57:53 marks. The Bombers continued to press, and they broke through at the 75:08 mark, finding space for their third goal.

Hamilton-Howard recorded three saves, and LaFond picked up seven. Camila Sandaal, Kaia Brady, and Goldie Siff played all 90 minutes.

Bard finishes its season with wins over Kean Jersey City, SUNY Poly, Brooklyn, and RPI. The leading goal-scorer was Brooke Egrestis, while LaFond led the team with 61 saves.
