Box score

Twenty minutes in, shots were even and possession was even. But after NYU's Cami Crawford (El Dorado Hills, CA) scored in the 24th minute, NYU gradually took control.

The Violets (5-2) had a 2-0 lead at halftime, and although Bard came out with some energy to start the second half and hit the crossbar early in that stanza, NYU pounced on every opportunity and scored three times in the second half.

In the end, NYU outshot Bard, 22-8, and collected six corners to Bard's three.

Bard next hosts Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts on Tuesday night. After that, Bard will play it's entire Liberty League schedule consecutively over the course of eight games between Sept. 28 and Oct. 20.
