Women's soccer team blanks Sage

Sophomore Neena Marano scored her first goal of the season on Wednesday night.
TROY, N.Y. - The Bard College women's soccer team got goals from four different players in a 4-0 non-conference victory over Sage on Wednesday night.

It was the first goal of the season for all four players as the Raptors won their second in a row to improve to 2-3 overall.

Cosie Andujar got the eventual game-winner in the sixth minute, and freshman Joanna Regan scored her first collegiate goal in the 28th minute to make it 2-0, off a feed from sophomore Maddy Huggins.

In the 35th minute, another freshman, Megan Snyder, got her first collegiate goal and it was 3-0 at halftime.

Sophomore Neena Marano added an unassisted goal in the second half to round out the scoring. Bard outshot Sage (1-1), 17-8. Amy Strawbridge made three saves.

Next up for Bard is SUNY New Paltz, at home on Saturday afternoon at 1.
