Women's soccer romps on Senior Day

Freshman Megan Snyder scored three times and also had a tribute to senior Kim Larie written on her cheek.
ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's soccer team rolled past Bay Path College, 11-0, on Saturday in a  non-league game.

It was the last game in the career of Kim Larie, who will be remembered as one of the best players Bard has ever produced. Her career was to end on Sunday when the Raptors were to take on No. 2-ranked William Smith College at RPI, but weather has forced the cancellation of the game.

Larie had a goal and an assist as the Raptors blew out Bay Path. Freshman Megan Snyder finished with three goals, junior Cosie Andujar and freshman Alana Shaw had two each, and single goals were scored by Maddy Huggins, Brianna Bean, Larie and Liz Freud. Huggins and Alice Weston each had three assists.

Bard (4-13) used four goalies, with Lena James getting the win, Amy Strawbridge making two saves, and Simone Leitner making one save.
