THROGGS NECK, N.Y. - Five different players scored on Friday night as the Bard College women's soccer team defeated Maritime, 8-0, in a Skyline Conference game.

Junior Kim Larie (Londonderry, NH), sophomore Perry Scheetz (Lancaster, PA) and freshman Maddy Huggins (Mukilteo, WA) each scored twice, while sophomore Samantha Hyers (Belford, NJ) and freshman Shana Joseph (Schenectady, NY) added single goals. Freshman Brianna Bean (Kaneohe, HI) contributed three assists.

Bard is 5-1 in the Skyline Conference, 6-5 overall. Maritime is 1-5 in the Skyline, 1-12 overall.

The Raptors next play a non-conference game on Tuesday at Skidmore at 5 p.m. Skidmore is a member of the Liberty League, which Bard will join in the fall of 2011.
