PURCHASE, N.Y. - Junior Erin Hannigan (West Pittston, PA) and freshman Brianna Bean (Kaneohe, HI) each scored twice on Tuesday night as the Bard College women's soccer team shut out Purchase, 4-0, in a Skyline Conference game.

Bean started the scoring in the fifth minute, scoring off a rebound of a shot by fellow freshman Erica Newton (Berkeley, CA). About six minutes later, Hannigan scored from just inside the penalty area off a pass from sophomore Lydia Rebehn (Averill Park, NY). In the 36th minute, Bean scored again, this time on a breakaway with an assist from freshman Alice Weston (Savannah, GA). It was 3-0 at halftime.

Hannigan scored again in the 59th minute, the assist this time going to freshman Maddy Huggins (Mukilteo, WA).

The Raptors are 4-1 in the Skyline Conference, 5-5 overall. Purchase is 1-3 in the conference, 3-5-1 overall.

Bard next plays on Friday, at Maritime at 7 p.m.
