SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Skidmore College senior Lindsay Schmitt (Mendon, MA) headed a long pass from freshman Christine Bellotti (Medfield, MA) into the goal in the 12th minute to give Skidmore a 1-0 victory over Bard on Tuesday night in a non-conference game.

Skidmore, 8-3-2 overall, peppered Bard goalkeeper Amy Strawbridge (Indianapolis, IN) with shots, but the freshman made 10 saves. Skidmore goalie Gab Lawrence made one save in the victory.

Bard, which will join Skidmore in the Liberty League next fall, will host Skyline Conference foe Old Westbury on Saturday at 1 p.m.
