The Bard College women's tennis team fought hard in a match against Ramapo on Friday afternoon but dropped the decision 8-1.
Hanna Okalava was the lone Raptor to win her singles match, defeating her opponent at no.1 in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3.
Maya Kelly fell at no.2 singles in a tight three setter, winning the first set 6-4, before falling in the second 6-1, and then in the championship tiebreak 10-7.
Paige Houghton won a game at no.3 singles, while
Dana Mulco had a tough matchup, falling 6-3, 6-4.
Lisa Kyrtoka won three games at no. 6 singles. The no.1 duo of Okalava and Kelly fell in their doubles matchup 8-5.
The Raptors will conclude their season when they take on Western Connecticut on Sunday at 1 p.m.
