Box Score The Bard College women's lacrosse team fell to Clark for their first road game of the season, 15-5, on Saturday afternoon.
Bard struck first within the first minute of the first quarter with a goal from first-year Gwendolyn Jamison. Clark bounced back and changed their offensive plays to score six straight goals in the first quarter. The Raptors battled until the end, but the Cougars took the victory.
Junior Izzi Popolizio led the team with two goals, while fellow juniors Morgan Ruhle and Maya Junkins had their first goals of the season off free-position shots. It was Junkins' first collegiate goal. Paige Gregg had four caused turnovers, four ground balls and four draw controls.
Bard comes back to Ferrari Field on Monday to take on Mount Saint Mary at 6 p.m.
