ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Lexie Blackburn has been named as the next Assistant Coach of the Bard College Lacrosse Team as announced on Monday by Head Lacrosse Coach Mike Galantich. 

"I am happy to welcome Lexie back to the team as she joins our coaching staff. I am excited to work with Lexie as we build our program and continue moving towards a bright future." said Galantich. " Lexie brings leadership, game experience and a real understanding of our team culture to our program. Her experience will be valuable for our goalies and in continuing to develop all of our players. It's an exciting time to be part of Bard College Lacrosse! "

"I am so thankful to have the opportunity to be the assistant coach here for the Bard Lacrosse team," said Blackburn. "My four years of being a player under Coach Mike and this team has greatly influenced my character both on and off the field. I wish to continue helping mold the high caliber of person and player that this program teaches one to be. This program has so much to offer and I am continuously excited to see the forward momentum." 

Lexie Blackburn has been the Raptors' starting goalkeeper since 2023, compiling 514 career saves, second in program history. She earned the Bard Women's Lacrosse Program Award, and she was named to the Liberty League All-Academic team three years in a row.
