ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College baseball team defeated Union College, 13-4, in a Liberty League game on Friday.
Down 3-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Bard scored four runs with two outs in the bottom of the inning and never looked back, adding three runs in the fifth and five in the sixth.
Jared Toby, who entered the weekend hitting .500 against conference opponents, had a two-run single in that inning and finished 3-for-5 with a triple, home run and four RBI.
Robert Arciola and Michael Hannan each added two hits, and
Alex Luscher hit a two-run double in the fifth.

Andrew Cuschieri was excellent out of the bullpen and gave us some important innings. Looking forward to Saturday."
The series is scheduled to continue with a doubleheader on Saturday in Schenectady. First pitch has been moved from noon to 10 a.m. due to rain in the forecast.
