2022: Spencer did more pitching in his senior year than he had done before, making 11 appearances, including nine starts and finished 3-4 with a team-best 4.47 ERA ... he had a complete game seven-inning shutout over Mount St. Mary, and later in the year, threw a two-hit seven-inning complete game against Union, earning Liberty League Pitcher of the Week honors ... he also made some starts at third base and DH, driving in nine runs ... Liberty League All-Academic.

2021: Played in and started all 20 games for Bard in his junior year ... was named to the All-Liberty League Second-Team ... finished the year with a .414 batting average and team best 1.076 OPS ... led the team with 29 hits, including five doubles, a triple, a team-high two home runs, and tied for the team lead with 14 RBI ... recorded a team best 42 total bases, had a .600 slugging percentage and .476 on-base percentage ... also pitched in three games for the Raptors on the season ... allowed zero earned runs in four innings of work, finishing with a 1-0 record ... struck out four batters, did not issue a walk, had a WHIP of 0.50, and finished with an opponent batting average of .154 on the year.

2020: Started in all four games during his sophomore season ... batted .500 on the year with one RBI, a triple, six runs scored and a .667 slugging percentage ... made one start on the mound for the Raptors, going 0-1 while striking out two batters in three innings of work ... season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019: Checkoway was an impact player as a freshman, leading the team with a .345 batting average and winning the Athletic Department's Male Newcomer of the Year Award ... he played in 28 games, starting 19 in the infield, and he made nine appearances out of the bullpen, going 0-0 with a 4.40 ERA and two saves ... he struck out 17 in 14.1 innings ... he went 3-for-3 with a double, triple and walk in a win over St. Lawrence on Apr. 7 ... it was one of seven multi-hit games.
