ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College baseball team defeated Rochester Institute of Technology, 7-2, in a Liberty League game on Sunday afternoon.
Bard starter 
Aidan Risse yielded two runs over six innings and struck out seven, and 
Bryant Elliott struck out six in three innings of relief as Bard struck out a season-high 13 batters.
"Good team win today," Bard coach 
Andy Salvatore said. "Risse and Elliott were solid on the mound. They did a great job attacking the strike zone."
Jordan Myers went 4-for-5, and 
Jake Stacey went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI. 
Spencer Checkoway had two hits including a double, and 
Alex Luscher went 1-for-2 with three walks and two runs scored out of the leadoff spot.
The Raptors play a rare midweek night game at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Wednesday.
