KINGS POINT, N.Y. - The Bard College baseball team lost to United States Merchant Marine Academy, 19-9, in a non-league game on Wednesday evening.

Jake Stacey had two hits and an RBI, and Jordan Myers went 1-for-2 with walk, one RBI and two runs scored. Michael Kurlan, Justin Fiume and Jack Williamson drove in a run apiece.

"There are some things we need to learn from," Bard coach Andy Salvatore said, "and some positives that we need to build on going into the weekend."

Up next for Bard is a three-game Liberty League series against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. There will be a doubleheader Saturday in Troy, and a single game on Sunday at Honey Field.
