GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Bard College baseball team lost to Nichols College, 18-3, in a neutral site game held at Messiah University on Saturday morning.
Alex Luscher went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI for the Raptors.
Spencer Checkoway added a pair of hits including a double, and
Michael Hannan finished with two hits, two runs and two stolen bases.
"Nichols is a good team and they put it to us today," Bard coach
Andy Salvatore said. "We will see how we respond tomorrow. It's going to take a total team effort."
The Raptors return home for a single nine-inning game on Sunday against Mount St. Mary College. First pitch at Honey Field is at 2 p.m.
