ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College baseball team lost a non-league game to SUNY Cobleskill, 13-10, on Friday.
Bard was down, 11-2, through six innings, but scored eight runs in the final three innings. Five of those runs came in the bottom of the ninth, keyed by a three-run double from
Jordan Myers.
"We showed good fight to be able to come back," Bard coach
Andy Salvatore said. "We also learned that there are a lot of things we need to work on going forward."
Alex Luscher,
Jake Stacey,
Justin Fiume and
Frank Rybicki collected two hits apiece for the Raptors, and
Jared Toby doubled and drove in a pair of runs.
Sunday's scheduled home doubleheader vs. Middlebury has been canceled. Bard will host Middlebury for a single 9-inning game on Tuesday at 3.
