ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team was swept by Vassar College, 9-0, in a Liberty League match on Saturday afternoon.

The Brewers (2-0 overall, 2-0 Liberty League) dropped just one game in sweeping the three doubles matches. And in taking all six singles match in straight sets, they lost a total of nine games. Bard's Lily Zacharias won four games in a loss at No. 5 singles.

Bard (2-4, 0-1 Liberty League) next hosts RPI on Oct. 7. That match is one of several Breast Cancer Awareness events scheduled in Athletics next week.
