ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team was defeated by Liberty League foe, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, 9-0 Saturday afternoon.

The Raptors (2-5, 0-2 Liberty League) manged to win just one game during the three doubles matches, as RPI (3-1, 1-1 LL) jumped out to a 3-0 lead.

In the singles matches, No.1 Katie Esposito performed the best for Bard, nearly winning the first set, before ultimately falling 7-5. In the second set, she lost by the score of 6-2. 

No. 3 Isabelle Scarborough won a game in the second set of her match, but that was all Bard could get on the afternoon. 

Up next for the Raptors is a road matchup with Skidmore College tomorrow (10/8) at 3 p.m.
