ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team edged Ramapo College, 5-4, in a non-league match on Sunday afternoon.

It was a thriller. Bard won two of the three doubles matches, then singles matches by Bella Martinez (No. 3) and MacKenzie Wardell (No. 4). When all the other matches ended, it was tied, 4-4, and No. 6 singles was still out there.

Lily Zacharias lost a first-set tiebreaker, then rallied to defeat Alexa Reeve (Hampton, NJ) 6-7, 6-1, 6-4. It won the match for the Raptors, who improved to 4-3.

Up next for the Raptors are a pair of Liberty League matches next weekend: At Vassar on Saturday, and home against Skidmore on Sunday.
