ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team lost to Plattsburgh State, 8-1, in a non-league match on Saturday afternoon.

Bard's No. 2 doubles team - Amelia Tiemann and MacKenzie Wardell - managed Bard's only point of the day, prevailing 8-3. The Cardinals (5-3) swept the other two doubles matches, then all six singles matches in straight sets.

After winning three straight to start the season, Bard is 3-3. The Raptors are right back on the court on Sunday, hosting Ramapo College at noon.
