SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team lost to Union College, 9-0, in a Liberty League match on Saturday morning.

The Dutchwomen (1-0) yielded just four games in taking all three doubles matches. Union won all six singles matches in straight sets, but at No. 4, Bella Martinez battled through a tiebreaker before failling, 6-2, 7-6 (10-8).

Bard's match scheduled for Sunday against Sarah Lawrence College has been postponed. So their next match is at home on Tuesday against Hartwick at 5.
