CANTON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team lost to St. Lawrence University, 8-1, in a Liberty League match on Saturday afternoon.

St. Lawrence, ranked 37th nationally, is 15-3. The Saints lost one game in singles, but had a player retire at No. 3, giving Bard's Jenny Chen a victory.

Bard, 0-13, has one match remaining on the 2014-15 schedule. The Raptors will play at William Smith College next Saturday at 2.
