MAHWAH, N.J. - The Bard College women's tennis team lost to Ramapo, 9-0, in a non-league match on Thursday night.

Bard's Bella Martinez and Lily Zacharias played two close matches at No. 4 and 5 singes, respectively. Zacharieas dropped the first set, 6-3, before sweeping the second set. She battled in the third set but ultimately lost 10-5. Martinez played a tight first set before losing 7-5, and then dropped the second set 6-3. The Roadrunners yeilded just six games in doubles action.

The Raptors return to action on Friday, October 16 when they host Western Connecticut State at 4 p.m.
