SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team lost to Union College, 8-1, in a Liberty League match on Wednesday night.

Bard's only victory came at No. 3 singles, when freshman Oguljemal Yaryyeva outlasted Margaret Oppenheim 7-6, 4-6 and 10-2.

Union is 8-4 overall, 2-2 in the Liberty League. Bard is 7-6, 0-4.

All that remains for the Raptors are this weekend's Liberty League Championships, to be hosted by St. Lawrence University.
