POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team was defeated by 29th-ranked Vassar College in a Liberty League match on Wednesday afternoon.

Bard's No. 2 doubles team, Lia Soorenian and Tanya Liebman, managed to take a game, but otherwise Vassar swept at love. In singles, Nelle Plotkin took a game at No. 2 singles, but every other set played on Wednesday was 6-0 in favor of the Brewers, who are 11-4.

The Raptors, 7-4, have two matches remaining, both in the Liberty League. They'll host William Smith College on Saturday morning at 10, then finish the season at Union College next Wednesday.
