ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team defeated Pratt Institute, 7-2, on Saturday in its first match of the spring portion of the 2013-14 season.

The Raptors took two of three doubles matches and five of six singles matches.

Julia DeFabo and Nelle Plotkin won at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively. Amanda Gan won her singles match at No. 5 and teamed with Lia Soorenian to win at No. 2 doubles.

The Raptors have three matches left, all the Liberty League. They'll travel down the road to play Vassar next on Wednesday at 4.
