KINGSTON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's lacrosse team lost to Skidmore College, 14-4, in a Liberty League game on Saturday night.

The Thoroughbreds ran out to a 10-0 halftime lead and cruised behind goals from 10 different players. The second half was played more evenly with each team scoring four times, but the outcome was never in doubt.

Krista Lamoreaux (Avon, CT), Tess Mattimore (Tiburon, CA), Allison Byrne (West Hartford, CT) and Peggy Healy (Northborough, MA) each scored twice for Skidmore. The Thoroughbreds are 2-6 overall, 1-1 in the Liberty League.

Bard (2-4, 0-2 Liberty League) got a pair of goals from Stephanie LaMont, and single goals from Joanna Regan and Mary-Elizabeth Clair. Winta Mehari made seven saves.
