ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team lost to unbeaten Mount Saint Mary College, 6-3, on Wednesday night.

It was Bard's first loss of the season.

Freshman Tessa Von Walderdorff won at No. 6 singles, and teamed with Chelsea Michaelis to win at No. 3 doubles. Nelle Plotkin won at No. 3 singles when her opponent was injured and couldn't continue.

Some members of the women's tennis team will compete in an ITA regional event at William Smith College this weekend; the team as a whole next play a week from Thursday at Western Connecticut State University.
