Bard blanked by RPI on Senior Day

Box Score ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's lacrosse team lost to RPI, 16-0, in a Liberty League game on Saturday.

It was the last home game for Bard seniors Kim Larie, Jessica Philpott and Farah Akhtar.

The Engineers, currently the top team in the Liberty League standings, dominated the game, outshooting Bard, 35-3, and getting goals from 13 different players. RPI is 13-1 overall, 7-1 in the Liberty League.

The winners got three goals from junior Audrey Stapleton (Barrington Hills, IL) and two from freshman Lydia Wolter (Hampton, NH).

Bard sophomore Nadine Muniz, taking over for the injured Maddy Huggins, made seven saves in her first ever game as a goalkeeper.

Bard has two games remaining, both in the Liberty League and both of the road. The Raptors, 5-9 overall and 0-7 in the Liberty League, play at Clarkson on Friday at 4 and at St. Lawrence on Saturday at 3.
