GENEVA, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team lost to William Smith College, 8-1, in a Liberty League match at Saturday.

Senior Madeline Turner was Bard's sole winner, as she outlasted William Smith freshman Kathleen Kennedy (Kenilworth, Ill.) 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 at No. 5 singles. Bard's Anna Gors also went three sets, losing at No. 6 singles to freshman Katie Drinkwater (Bernardsville, NJ) 6-7, 6-1, 10-8.

William Smith College is 10-3 overall, 3-3 in the Liberty League.
