ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team defeated Manhattanville College, 5-0, in a non-conference match shortened by rain on Wednesday night.

The Raptors, 6-4 overall, won all three doubles matches, won two singles matches, and led in the other four singles matches when the skies opened up.

Sofia Commito and Jean Wong won in straight sets at Nos. 1 & 2 singles, respectively. Wong teamed will Julia DeFabo to win at No. 1 doubles, Commito partnered with Madeline Turner to win at No. 2 doubles, and Nelle Plotkin and Amanda Gan won easily at No. 3 doubles.

Manhattanville is 1-3.

Bard has some time off before its next match, Apr. 11, at home against Liberty League foe Union College.
