TROY, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team was defeated by RPI, 8-1, on Saturday afternoon in a Liberty League match.

The Engineers improved to 8-1 overall and 2-0 in the Liberty League.

Sophomore Julia DeFabo picked up Bard's only victory, edging sophomore Meghan Olson (Rochester, NY) 2-6, 6-4 (11-9) at No. 3 singles.

The Raptors, 5-4 overall and 0-3 in the Liberty League, next host Manhattanville College in a non-league match on Wednesday evening at 6.
