ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team battled, but it still trailed 30-14 at halftime of Friday night's game against Clarkson University.
In the first five minutes of the second half, the Raptors made another push, and
Joanna Regan's jumper with 15:23 left in the game cut Clarkson's lead to 32-20.
Clarkson responded with a 29-2 run en route to a 66-27 Liberty League victory over Bard.

The Golden Knights (7-8 overall, 2-5 Liberty League) made 47 percent of their shots in the second half and pulled away, forcing 35 Bard turnovers along the way.
Clarkson was led by freshman Raeanne Clabeaux (New Woodstock, NY), who had 12 points, 11 rebounds, six steals and a block. Three other players scored in double figures for Clarkson, which plays Vassar in Poughkeepsie on Saturday afternoon.
Bard (1-15, 0-7) got seven points apiece from Regan,
Liz Freud and
Victoria Fleisher, and six points and nine rebounds from
Imani Jones. Next up for the Raptors is first-place St. Lawrence, at home on Saturday at 2 p.m.
