ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team remained unbeaten on Saturday with an 8-1 non-conference win over Sarah Lawrence College.
Senior
Sofia Commito outlasted Megan Santarsiero at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 7-5, and another key match was at No. 3 singles, where
Nelle Plotkin defeated Kayla Pincus, 7-6 (7-4), 6-0.
Julia DeFabo,
Chloe Stergides,
Lia Soorenian and
Amanda Gan also won singles matches.
Bard, 3-0, swept the three doubles matches - Commito and DeFabo at No. 1, Plotkin and Soorenian at No. 2, and Stergides and Gan at No. 3.
The Raptors play again on Sunday, hosting Polytechnic Institute of NYU at 2 p.m.
