Box Score The Bard College Women's Lacrosse team opened up the 2010 season, their 1st varsity season, with a 16-6 loss to the Blue Knights of Mount Saint Mary College in a Skyline Conference match up.

The Blue Knights took an early 2-0 lead with the first two goals of the 1st half. The Raptors would net the next goal during a free positions shot off the stick of Bridget Reddington (Fr. - Caldwell, NJ). Mount Saint Mary would add two more goals before Bard scored again off of another free position shot but this time it was from Madison Fletcher (So. - Schenectady, NY). It would be another two goals by the Blue Knights before Bard would add another goal by Bridget Reddington.

Mount Saint Mary would net seven out of the next eight goals to take a 13-4 lead. Bard would add two goals before halftime by Lauren Dorsey-Spitz (Fr. - Pueblo, CO) and Jessica Philpott (So. - Hot Springs, VA) to end the half in a 13-6 hole.

The 2nd half was a much more evenly played as Mount Saint Mary would score the only three goals of the half to end the game with a 16-6 victory. The Blue Knights were led by Kaileen Spadaro who netted seven goals on nine shots. Catherine Conde also scored three goals on four shots for Mount Saint Mary.

Bridget Reddington led Bard with two goals on two shot and grabbed twelve ground balls. Lauren Dorsey-Spitz, Madison Fletcher, Kim Larie (So. - Londonderry, NH), and Jessica Philpott all had a goal for the Raptors.

Bard falls to 0-1 (0-1 Skyline) on the season and will take travel to Ramapo College on Saturday, March 20th for another Skyline Conference game.
