ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team finished out the regular season on Tuesday night with a sweep of Yeshiva University.
The Raptors won the match, 9-0, which included two wins by way of default. Freshman
Jean Wong (Singapore) won at No. 1 singles to maintain her perfect singles record for the season. This was her first match at No. 1 singles, however.
Earlier in the day, Skyline Conference Commissioner Tracy King released the pairings for the 2010 Women's Tennis Tournament, and Bard earned the No. 2 seed. No. 2 Bard will host No. 3 Purchase on Wednesday at 6 p.m., and No. 1 Mount Saint Mary will host No. 4 St. Joseph's.
The winners will meet on Saturday, with the higher-seeded semifinal survivor playing host. Bard defeated Purchase, 7-2, back on Sept. 21, and lost to Mount Saint Mary, 5-4, on Oct. 7.
