ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College men's tennis team was topped by the Manhattanville Valiants on Thursday afternoon, 7-0. 

At No. 1 doubles, Nick Oh and Blake Kendall battled but did not get the win. At No. 2 doubles, Faisal Jones and Ciaran Chamberlain fell 1-6. Thanasis Kostikas and Peter Trimble teamed up at No. 3 doubles and got a victory, 6-4. 

At No. 1 singles, Oh got four games. Kostikas fought but came up short, 1-6, 3-6 at No. 2 singles. At No. 3 singles, Kendall fell 0-6, 0-6.

Jones played at No. 4 singles, claiming four games. At No. 5 singles, Trimble wore down his opponent in an exhilarating second set, 1-6, 5-7. At No. 6 singles, Chamberlain won three games but was outlasted by Manhattanville, 3-6, 0-6.

Bard resumes Liberty League action on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Vassar.
