POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Bard College men's basketball team could not overcome #RV Vassar as the Raptors fell 93-50 on Saturday afternoon.
Seth Dyer led the team with 10 points, going 4-of-5.
Angelos Bratakos and
Konstantinos Korfiatis each had a team-high five rebounds. Bratakos,
Lucas Tovar, and
Luke Ravitz each had six points each. Tovar had a team-high two assists and added two steals.
Bard's offense started strong in the first 3:30 of the first half, going 3-of-3 in field goals. Vassar found its rhythm, going on a 17-1 run before a Dyer three-pointer stopped the bleeding. Dyer then scored the next six points for the Raptors to reduce the deficit to 12 points. In the second half, Bard reduced their turnovers to just five and scored 34 points in the paint.
Bard will travel to the northern country to face Clarkson on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and then St. Lawrence on Saturday at 4 p.m.
