ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. — The Bard men's tennis team fell to the RIT Tigers in a Liberty League match on Friday afternoon.

The Raptors had the most success in doubles, earning four total games across No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Bard's team of Ciaran Chamberlain and Augustin Johnson fought at No. 3 doubles but could not pull through.

Thanasis Kostikas played at No. 1 singles for the tenth time this season, returning well but succumbing to RIT in the end. At No. 2 singles, Faisal Jones could not get over the line to win a game, but made some outrageous gets while covering the court on defense.

At. No. 3 singles, Yashar Khan, was ultimately unable to scratch a game across the board. George Miahkov played at No. 4 singles for the fourth time this season. Miahkov had multiple game points that could have turned the tide.

At No. 5 singles, Chamberlain hugged the baseline to try and take time away from RIT, but his opponent was able to adjust. Johnson had to withdraw from No. 6 singles, moving Chamberlain up a spot.

The Raptors host Lehman for Senior Day on Monday at 4 p.m.
