RECAP: Women’s Volleyball dropped road game at Clarkson

The Bard College women's volleyball team fell to Clarkson in straight sets on Friday night. 

Bard got off to a competitive start in the first set, posting 10 kills and three errors on 38 swings, while Clarkson managed eight kills, seven errors for only a hitting percentage of .024. The Golden Knights edged the Raptors at the end of the first set to go up 1-0. In the second and third sets, the Golden Knights pulled away, committing only six errors and recording 21 kills. 

The Raptors finished with 22 kills, with three players tied for the lead in kills with five each: Annika Flittie, Paola De La Cruz, and Carmen Merrick. Flittie also led in aces with 3, and Ella Small paced the team with 13 digs. 

Bard will face Skidmore tomorrow at 2 p.m.
