The Bard College women's soccer team had a hard-fought battle against Vassar in their Liberty League opener on Wednesday afternoon at Gordon Field. 

The Raptors struggled to find their footing against the Brewers, battling fiercely but unable to generate any real momentum. With the Brewers' defense standing firm, the Raptors managed just two shots all game—one from Waleska Brito and another from Alexandria Loner—leaving them unable to break through in a frustrating outing. 

The Raptors defense accounted for seven saves on the day, with 6 of them coming from goalkeeper Seymone Rosenberg.

Bard will take a trip to battle Ithaca for their second Liberty League outing on Saturday at 3:00 PM.
